Statement"So I'm standing there with my artistic partners-in-crime as one of them shoots me a whisper and motions toward the sidewalk. A man and his basset have just meandered around the corner at the ungodly hour of 1 AM, what what'cha gonna do? So we, being the polite young gentleman we are, we set down our paints and give him a good evening. (There was nothing else to do, really; shamelessness is part of the job description.)
